Handicrafts are an upward trend and are especially appreciated in the modern world of fashion. They are able to bring a unique flavor and originality to your garment. The growing interest in Crafts prompted me to form a special Crash-Course for knitting lovers. It is perfect for craftswomen who are ready to join a group and organise tutorials in their region, city, etc.

The Crash-Course program takes into account the interests of both lovers of trying new techniques in knitting and the interests of those who are passionate about the creative process of constructing compositions and selecting color combinations.
We are happy to welcome those who want to take part in a small excursion into the History of ornamental graphics and come closer to the origins of our Common Balto-Slavic Culture.
The program is flexible and divided into thematic days.

DAY 1 - CRASH MASTER CLASS - Knitting Technique - 2 "academic pairs" (1.5 hours + 1.5 hours)
This day is fully suitable for those who are more orientated on practical training in knitting techniques.

You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the knitting process of the traditional National Latvian mittens "from A to Z".
One of the mittens that makes up the unique collection of the State Ethnographic Museum of Latvia will be used as a sample.
In the process of communication, you will surely have a desire to share your knitting tips with other participants in the MASTER CLASS, to demonstrate finished products . All this will be possible within the framework of the DAY 1 in an inviting conversation over a fragrant cup of tea or coffee.

DAY 2 - CRASH MASTER CLASS - Composition and Color Matching  - 2 "academic couples" (1.5 hours + 1.5 hours)
This day is more suitable for those who do not stop at what they have achieved on the first day.
  For those who want to try themselves in the creative process of building a composition , and are keen on colors compilation, wants to develop his artistic sensibility and create his own works of Arts and Crafts.
  Together we will discuss your solutions and compare the variants, share our impressions and analyze possible errors.

The schedule of this day also provides an introductory lecture - a short excursion into the History of Ornamental Graphics . Common origins and national characteristics. The meaning of symbols in patterned graphics.

I am sure that the exchange of experience between the participants of the project will bring joy of communication, new impressions and emotions that we will take home with us. And with which we will warm our relatives, loved ones and loved ones.

Any photos of ready made garment should have watermarks noticing pattern author and present general view without details - 600 x 400 picxel only.

I agree: Teaching classes is permitted provided full credit is given to the designer, Cimdu pasakas, for the work. Photocopying of my patterns is permitted.

I agree: The purchased Knitting Kit, Pattern or Master-class suppose one item for non-profit use. This license agreement covers charity purposes and making gifts for friends and/or family. If you are donating the item, or giving the item to friends and/or family, credit must be given with details of this website, should anyone else be interested in the origins of the designs and patterns. The designer, Cimdu pasakas should be informed and be able to contact direct by e-mail or phone with the person or organization which receive the donation or a gift. The ready-made item should contain the label with the name of both the designer and the knitter.

I agree: Each item produced for profit should be provided by 5% allocation to the designer, Cimdu pasakas. The calculation should be kept due to the percentage out of the knitting kit price on the website. Any mass production and manufacture without my knowledge is permitted. Should you wish to knit or manufacture large quantities from my designs, then please contact me.Credit must be given to the designer, Cimdu paskas, where possible with details of this website's URL, preferably on a tag. If the item is to be sold online, the designer's name MUST be evident to avoid any speculation and makes things easier for everyone.
